Primary have never had such fun in their Spelling Classes! Learning to spell in shaving cream is great because if you make a mistake, you simply smooth it all over and start again!
After the shaving cream lesson, students were given a piece of paper, some jelly crystals and a glue stick. Carefully writing their words with a glue stick, they sprinkled the jelly crystals over the paper, and hey presto! - a magical word appeared. Some pretty challenging words were spelled — rendezvous, appendicectomy; quadriplegia, assiduously, anecdotally and dementia.
Thanks Mrs Randall!
