Our first ever National Fundraiser - all MET campuses participated in "Bang on a Beanie Day" to raise money to fight Brain Injury.
BANGONABEANIE was participated in from all M.E.T. campuses as well as M.E.T. affiliate schools across Australia. All students were to wear a beanie of any kind and bring a gold coin donation. This fundraiser supports people with Brain Injury, which unfortunately is 1 in 12 Australians.
BANGONABEANIE day was our first ever national fundraiser as we all wacked on our favorite beanie and joined in to fight against Brain Injury. The day was planned by our National Leadership Team, who set the goal at $1500. This goal was passed by a long shot, raising $5856.80! This event was evidence of the power of collaboration of students across the country and we are looking forward to more days like this!
