Goulburn is situated 2 hours from Sydney and 1 hour from Canberra with easy access to transport links.
At the end of Term 4 2018, we will be bidding farewell to our Goulburn campus leader and we are looking for an educatorwith the passion, knowledge and dedication required to lead our campus of 80 students from Years 3-12.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
An opportunity exists for a full time Leadership and Teaching position in a dynamic school with high expectations and aspirations for all learners. M.E.T. School is an independent, co-educational Christian School with 12 locations across NSW, delivering curriculum to years 3 to 12. The Head of Campus at each location provides operational, educational andacademic leadership.
M.E.T. School is supported by OneSchool, an international affiliation of schools with 9500 students throughout 18 countries. The M.E.T. School system provides significant opportunities for collaboration with regularinteraction and events between campuses. The successful applicant will be supported in their role by a strong academicand administrative team at our Sydney Central Office. M.E.T. School has an innovative culture which is epitomised in its new Self Directed Learning (SDL) program. The SDL method fosters a higher level of student motivation, planning, research,collaboration and higher order advanced thinking. The M.E.T. Goulburn Campus has a Learning Centre for independentstudy to support this pedagogy which also incorporates Video Conferencing facilities for multi campus lessons.
As the Head of Campus, you will be responsible for the overall educational and organisational leadership of the campus. You will work with a supportive group of community volunteers who are responsible for facilities, finance and community liaison. Heads of Campus must be accredited to teach in NSW or be eligible to beaccredited and will have a teaching load. If you are highly organised, an excellent communicator and lookingfor a challenge, this is a significant opportunity. The successful candidate will have had experience in aneducational leadership position or experience in a similar role.
